I began to climb the corporate ladder during my 18 year career with IBM. I achieved the level of Vice President of Product Development and earned the recognition of the first female Vice President on the Development side of IBM. As Vice President, I was responsible for the development of the IBM ThinkPad, a product that just had it's 30th anniversary.
In 1992 I took early retirement from IBM and moved to Vail, Colorado. To fill my time I served on numerous corporate boards of directors and worked as a management consultant.
I have started multiple successful businesses. In 1999 I started a private mortgage company targeting the high-end second home markets in Vail and Beaver Creek, CO. In just 7 short years it grew to six employees and had an annual revenue of $60,000,000. In 2006 I sold my interest in the business to pursue my other passions. I focused my time serving on corporate boards and multiple volunteer opportunities. In 2014 I co-founded AgeWellMD, a medical practice which is still thriving and serves to bring hormonal balance in men and women of all ages.
I believe that direct concise communication is the most effective tool to make progress. My style of communication may not work with everyone and I understand that. I have earned status, leadership roles and visibility by staying true to my passions. Through my unique story telling I share my insights and lessons with groups across the United States. Because of my professional, direct and engaging style I have been in demand as a national public speaker on the topics of business and personal development. MK Vieth Consulting is founded on the principles of integrity, professionalism and loyalty. I focus on serving clients with forward thinking solutions that provide long-term results.

What is the Significance of Wolves?
I have always been drawn to both white and black wolves. I find them stunningly beautiful. when I learned about their personalities, I found that I have a lot in common with them. For example, they understand the value of teamwork and show a willingness to lead or be a member of the pack. They are clear headed, strong minded, and always willing to compromise in the interest of getting the job done right.
They have a strong sense of family and community, an intuitive sense of social order, and are very affectionate with friends and family. They will fiercely defend themselves and their loved ones whenever necessary. They are natural born teachers, imparting knowledge based on experiences.
These are all traits that I have valued as important in both my personal and professional life.
